Before we gained followers and built large audiences, we had already cracked the code to creating a successful online business. Most of us have been working from home for the majority of our careers. Early on, we discovered that you don't necessarily need your own audience to build a successful business. In fact, none of us had an audience until last year (2023). We did things in reverse: we built our businesses before building our personal brands.

By studying the landscape of the creator economy for years, we understood that it wasn't a one-way street. We learned how to play the game with the cards we were dealt, using our skills as leverage. The most crucial part of this game is understanding the power of attention.

For example, in early 2015, Roberto launched a mobile app development company that achieved over 50 million app downloads within the first few years. Even without an audience, he recognized an opportunity to partner with Instagram influencers to promote his apps, leveraging the power of attention to drive millions of downloads.

DigitalJeff launched his first successful online business in 2003, before the rise of any social media platforms. At 18, with the single skill of building HTML websites, he built one of the biggest marketing agencies in Texas. He foresaw that people would spend hours online, and his company was ready to address that emerging need.

Domenic, aka Mr. Grateful, started his first online agency by understanding the importance of personal branding. With his expertise in fashion design, Photoshop, and cinematography, he helped personal brands create original content. Although personal branding was a new concept then, he knew it would soon be in high demand.

Now, we believe that having a large audience is a cheat code to launching a profitable business from day one. Being an authority in a specific niche reduces the risk of failure. You can launch a business with little to no investment, which is a huge advantage. This is just one of the many benefits of building a personal brand. The people and brands you can collaborate or partner with completely change.

Looking back, Roberto collaborated with Mark Zuckerberg! This would never have happened if he hadn't invested in his personal brand. Mr. Grateful has partnered with brands like Meta and NVIDIA and traveled the world with MindValley. Similarly, Jeff has been invited to top podcasts, spoken on stages, and collaborated with celebrities such as and Ashton Kutcher. A year ago, none of this would have been possible. There's a huge difference when opportunities come knocking on your door instead of the other way around.

We believe in what we are doing because this is what we do 24/7. We are in the trenches, and we love this game. We understand that this is not a one-size-fits-all opportunity.
